The Urban Farm Crawl and We Ride Bike Ride are on August 13, 2023. Enjoy a day at the farms and gardens! You can choose to bike in the morning with the We Ride Bike Ride sponsored by We Arose and Waterloo Bicycle Works. The bike ride starts and ends at We Arose Garden. Or drive yourself in the afternoon and visit the farms in any order at your own pace. Each location will give an overview of their farm or garden at 1 pm, 1:30 pm, 2:00 pm, 2:30 pm, 3:00 pm, 3:30 pm, 4:00 pm, and 4:30 pm. No registration required.

After the Farm Crawl, join the Rooted Carrot Co-op, We Arose, and The UNI Local Food Program from 5-6:30 p.m. The event will take place at the We Arose garden on 300 Peek St. in Waterloo. Light refreshments will be served. This will be an opportunity to socialize, enjoy good food, and learn about these organizations.
