Join us for a Farm Crawl!

Join Rooted Carrot Co-op members and potential members on the Cedar Valley Regional Food & Farm Network Farm Crawl. The Farm Crawl is an opportunity for community members to learn how your food is grown and learn about local producers’ growing practices. You also have the opportunity to visit some backyard gardens and community gardens. The event is free, fun for all ages, and anyone can attend. Do you want to ride share with other Rooted Carrot members and potential members for the farm crawl from noon-4 p.m.? Meet at Dr. Walter Cunningham School for Excellence (1224 Mobile St. Waterloo) at 11:45 a.m. 

After the Farm Crawl, join the Rooted Carrot for a member mixer for members and nonmembers 4-6 p.m. The event will take place at the We Arose Garden (300 Peek St. Waterloo). Light refreshments will be served. If you want to learn more about We Arose Co-op but can’t attend the entire Farm Crawl, arrive at 3:30 p.m. to learn more about how they got started and their mission.
