Sweet Corn Meet

Hit the cookbooks before it’s time to hit the real books… join CFFC and friends for some fun!

Celebrate the end of summer with a casually competitive potluck centered around the late summer bounty of sweet corn.

Join Kara Grupp from Three Pines Farm in making a sweet corn inspired recipe; then, come to mingle with other CFFC supporters, share recipes, and vote for your favorite. We’ll have a children’s activity, put on some music, and enjoy each other’s company before the bustle of the school year begins.

The rules:

1. Come to have fun.
2. If you want to enter the People’s Choice Contest, your dish must include sweet corn as an ingredient (think Iron Chef).
3. Bring your own beverages (no glass, please, per park rules).
4. Bring a dish to share (with recipe handy to share) and table service for your family.
5. If you’re not a member, bring your checkbook or credit card to join on the spot. The sooner we reach 1,000 members, the sooner we open our doors!
6. If you are a member, bring a potential new CFFC member, so s/he can see what we’re all about.
