Food Patriots FREE Film Screening at Oster Regent

Enjoy a film and learn about the Cedar Falls Food Co-op!

Please come and enjoy a free screening of Food Patriots, recently reviewed by DietsinReview.com as “the food movie for people who aren’t into food movies. It takes a simple, beautiful approach to the topic at hand, which is ultimately eating better, healthier food.”This is an opportunity to learn about the power a community has to make changes about food choices. With almost 100 member-owners who have joined the Cedar Falls Food Co-op’s efforts to establish a full-service grocery focusing on local, healthy and organic food, we encourage more like-minded community members to attend this event.

After the movie, we will host a discussion about the film as well as provide information about the Co-op, our progress so far and how to become member-owners. Members who join that day will receive two free tickets to an upcoming production at the Oster Regent Theatre who will co-host this screening.

Childcare will be available in the upstairs Deery Room at the Oster Regent ($5 suggested donation, ages 2+ only).
