Spring into summer with this tasty hummus using this perfected to taste recipe.
Take it to a party for a hit dip or put it on your salad for a fresh protein packed dressing.
Prep time: 15 min
Materials: food processor or blender
Ingredients:
1 bunch cilantro (optional)
3 cloves garlic (optional)
2 cans organic chickpeas (garbanzo beans)
¼ tbsp. sea salt
1 tbsp. olive oil
2 small lemons or 1 large lemon or ¼ c. lemon juice (use the zest if using organic lemons too!)
¼ c. tahini
Directions:
Drain juice from ONE can of garbanzo beans, keep juice from the other. Cut cilantro into pieces no longer than 3 inches (this helps it from wrapping itself around your blender). Add chickpeas and liquid, cilantro, garlic cloves, salt, olive oil, lemon juice and zest, and tahini.
Enjoy!
*Use just one can of garbanzo beans and half of everything else for a smaller portion.
