Join us for the first Member Mixer of 2022!

We will meet for a guided hike followed by s’mores around a campfire. Learn about how the wildlife at Hartman Reserve survive the winter months, finding shelter in interesting places! Then, the Naturalist will show us how to start a bonfire and we will enjoy time together roasting marshmallows, enjoying warm beverages, and mixing!! If there is 3 inches or more of snow, snowshoes will be available free of charge during the guided hike.
If you have a stick for roasting marshmallows, a favorite camping stool, and/or a favorite reusable hot beverage cup, feel free to bring it along for your own use. We will have some available, and will supply the s’mores and hot beverages.
Please register by Jan. 20 at info@rootedcarrot.coop so that we can plan accordingly! We REALLY don’t want to run out of chocolate!

Park in the lot and follow the sidewalk to the Interpretive Center. The hike will start from there.
Woodland paths can be uneven, so please wear durable footwear to keep yourself safe! Dress warmly!!
