DESCRIPTION:Enjoy a film and learn about the Cedar Falls Food Co-op!\nPlease come and enjoy a free screening of Food Patriots\, recently reviewed by DietsinReview.com as “the food movie for people who aren’t into food movies. It takes a simple\, beautiful approach to the topic at hand\, which is ultimately eating better\, healthier food.”This is an opportunity to learn about the power a community has to make changes about food choices. With almost 100 member-owners who have joined the Cedar Falls Food Co-op’s efforts to establish a full-service grocery focusing on local\, healthy and organic food\, we encourage more like-minded community members to attend this event. \nAfter the movie\, we will host a discussion about the film as well as provide information about the Co-op\, our progress so far and how to become member-owners. Members who join that day will receive two free tickets to an upcoming production at the Oster Regent Theatre who will co-host this screening. \nChildcare will be available in the upstairs Deery Room at the Oster Regent ($5 suggested donation\, ages 2+ only).
